| Ugh. What should I do? |

So I purchased something almost a week ago on Etsy. I have only purchased about two things on there so far, so this is relatively new to me. On November 3rd, I asked the seller a question about the item. She responded the day after and answered my question, then I bought the item. My payment cleared, and I messaged her to verify that she received it and to get the shipping information. I've messaged her about 3/4 times and she hasn't responded to any of them.
What's more annoying is the fact that I saw on her feedback that she had purchased something from somebody else on November 7th (so the feedback says). What am I supposed to do about this? She has 100% feedback, I just don't understand why she can't find the decency to respond to ANY of my conversations, especially after I already paid.... |

Some sellers just choose not to communicate. Give it about three weeks from the date of purchase and if you haven't received the item, file a paypal dispute and notify etsy.
Okay. I sent her a message today saying that I wanted an update on the situation by the end of the week or I was going to refund my purchase and leave negative feedback. I just figured since she already responded to me once, that she would respond again, and even update the invoice status :( bummer.
:)
If the situation changes or doesn't get resolved, please flollow-up here. Sorry this is happening - I know how frustrating it is when people don't communicate!
I'll definitely follow up if it improves/doesn't improve, so either way haha. Hopefully I get a response soon...I really want what I ordered so I'm gonna be so sad if I can't get it haha.
Great news! Finally got a response today. Should be shipped out Friday!
some sellers don't think they need to tell you when they post your items (and really a lot of times they don't have to, esp. if they set up their shipping online because you get a notification that way). it is frustrating when an item you are really excited about it taking a while and you have no comm from the seller about it but it all honesty 1 week is NOT that much time. I've had things take upwards of 3 weeks to arrive to me with no comm from the seller as to its where abouts.
Since you have only been waiting about a week and the seller has 100% feedback I'd say give the seller another week before you jump the gun and file a claim. Some folks do other things besides sell on Etsy and perhaps this seller has not been able to get to your convo. Like I said it can be frustrating to wait and it is good to keep your wits about you but this situation doesn't seem to warrant any thing drastic.
good luck! Hope your goodies arrive soon :D
The seller finally replied today. She felt bad for not responding and offered me a refund, but I don't necessarily want a refund, so she is going to ship my items Friday :D
oh I'm so glad to hear that she finally responded and everything has worked out! :D | |
